Conference mobile app
View and search the CPS conference program, access speaker handouts or find information on presenters and exhibitors using the conference mobile app. Available in Apple iOS, Android and HTML5 versions, the app will launch at the beginning of April. Registered attendees will receive an email with a link to download the app once available.
You'll find convenient locations at the trade show and in the registration area where you can charge your phone or tablet in a comfortable setting.
Delegates with dietary restrictions must indicate them when registering online to receive a special meal ticket for functions where food is available. Personal dietary requirements cannot be met without this meal ticket. Just show it to your server to obtain a personalized meal.
The CPS works closely with convention staff to provide safe and delicious meals for all participants. However, we cannot guarantee that menu items are free of trace amounts of allergens or any other ingredient.
E-poster presentations of select abstracts are offered on Thursday, June 1st during the luncheon in the exhibit hall. Presenters will answer Q&A with moderators and with conference participants. Six posters are preselected for quality of research, clinical practice and policy, during a 30-minute presentation at one of two e-poster stations in the exhibit hall.

Dress for the Annual Conference is business casual. Have a light jacket or sweater with you at all times, as meeting room temperatures can vary.
Are you a hungry learner? Or good at finding and sharing those critical teaching moments? Be part of a whole new learning initiative. Consider registering as a 'mentor' or 'mentee'. Just answer a few questions online so we can match you with an appropriate guide or learner for ongoing CPD and experience-sharing. You'll 'meet your match' at this year's conference and receive a name, contact information and a resource guide beforehand to help coordinate areas of interest and meeting schedules.

There is no printed program available on site this year, but the Conference Guide and Program at-a-Glance will be fully downloadable in print-friendly formats at the CPS conference website about 2 weeks before the conference starts. The Conference Guide includes general information, the conference schedule, room assignments and a complete exhibit hall listing.
Pre-register for sessions
Because space is limited, pre-registration is required for all workshops. Be sure to indicate your session preferences when you register. Sessions are seated on first-come, first-served basis, and knowing in advance which ones are popular helps us to allocate an appropriate meeting room.
Not everyone is comfortable near cologne or perfume. Please refrain from wearing scented products.

The CPS tries to ensure that all educational and social events are fully accessible. If you have any special needs or requests, contact the CPS Education Department before the conference at 613-526-9397, ext. 248, or bring them to the attention of registration staff during the event.

We will not distribute water in plastic bottles. Consider bringing a favourite water bottle to fill from dispensers onsite.
Wear your badge
Name badges are required for admission to all conference activities. Be sure to pick up your badge at on-site registration when you arrive. This year, you’ll have the option of a mobile event check-in using your smartphone or confirmation e-mail. You’ll still have the option of having conference staff assist you.
Registered delegates can access WiFi in all public spaces and meeting rooms in the Vancouver Convention Centre, East Building.
