Full registration

The full registration fee covers admission to all educational sessions, the welcome reception, trade show and scheduled meals in the conference program unless otherwise indicated.

***Proof of status is needed for full-time students, trainees and residents. To qualify for the student rate, send a copy of your student card, and a transcript or a letter from your supervisor or Dean to the attention of the CPS Education Department within 72 hours of submitting your registration. Student registration will not be considered complete until proof of status has been received by e-mail at meetings@cps.ca.

Daily registration

Daily registration fees entitles a delegate to attend all activities for that day. When registering online, be sure to specify which day you’ll attend.

Accompanying guests

The registration fee includes admission to the opening ceremonies, the welcome reception and trade show. The fees listed below apply only to accompanying guests who are not physicians. Only delegates who register for the full conference are entitled to register an accompanying spouse or other family member as their guest. Guests are not eligible to earn continuing medical education credits.

Return to the online registration site, click on the “Modify Registration” button at the bottom of the page and enter your email address and last name to access your registration information.

Cancellations

Cancellation for any reason must be received in writing by April 17, 2017 to generate a refund, and a $100 administrative charge will be deducted. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after this date. Registration fees are not transferable to another attendee or meeting.

Contact and other personal information obtained from your conference registration form is closely protected. It is used by CPS staff to administer delegate lists and attendance records for Section 1 credits or to advise delegates of future CPS events and offerings. Withholding your consent to use this information may limit our ability to serve you. To update personal information or ask questions about how we collect or use personal information, contact meetings@cps.ca.

ONCE YOU’RE ON SITE 

Attention registrants

If you registered online, be sure to drop by the check-in counter at the on-site registration to pick up your badge, confirm attendance, and secure eligibility for MOC credit. This year, you’ll have the option of a mobile event check-in using your smartphone or confirmation e-mail.  Registration check-in counters are located in Ballroom A of the Vancouver Convention Centre – East Building. Proof of your credentials may be required.

Name badges are required for admission to all conference activities.

  • Tuesday, May 30: 1200-2000
  • Wednesday, May 31 to Friday, June 2: 0630-1700
  • Saturday, June 3: 0730-1000
