Getting to Vancouver
Connecting is easy…
By air, you're most likely be flying into Vancouver International Airport (YVR), a perfectly modern and highly rated airport just 45 minutes from downtown by car. More than a dozen international flights land or take off every day, with 22 out-bound for the United States. For more information, visit: http://www.yvr.ca/en/passengers.
The SkyTrain provides rapid rail service linking YVR to downtown Vancouver. Trains leave the airport station every seven minutes or so at most times of the day. There are 16 stops along the line, with the downtown Vancouver stop at Waterfront—the line's terminus.
The trip from YVR to downtown Vancouver takes only 26 minutes for a fare of $9 (or $4 return). Visit www.translink.ca for maps, schedules and fare information.
Taxis and wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available at taxi stands located on level 2 of the domestic and international arrivals area at YVR. Fare to the conference hotels is approximately $35, excluding tip.
