Maintenance of Certification (MOC)

This event has been approved by the Canadian Paediatric Society for a maximum of 25.25 credit hours as an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).

Wednesday, May 30       Maximum study credits: 6.5 hours
Thursday, May 31           Maximum study credits: 10.25 hours
Friday, June 1                 Maximum study credits: 4.5 hours
Saturday, June 2             Maximum study credits: 4.0 hours

AMA PRA Category 1

Through an agreement between the RCPSC and the American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Information on this process can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/agreement-royal-college-physicians-surgeons-canada.

European Continuing Medical Education Credits

Live educational activities that occur in Canada and are recognized by the RCPSC as Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) are deemed by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) to be eligible for ECMEC.

College of Family Physicians of Canada Members (CFPC)

CFPC members may claim up to 50 certified credits per cycle for participation in RCPSC MOC Section 1 accredited activities. The maximum does not apply to CFPC Affiliate members.
