Call for Poster Abstracts & Resident Advocacy Projects

The 95th Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) Annual Conference will be held in Quebec City, May 30-June 2, 2018. Attendees include paediatricians and child and youth health professionals. The 2018 Annual Conference Committee is seeking submissions that reflect the best thinking in the field, informed by theory, research, and practice and cognizant of issues of diversity and inclusion.

Please be sure to read the instructions for submission very carefully and prior to submitting.

Submission Fee
A fee of $35 (CAD) will be charged for each submission. Please see the Late-breaking Abstract Guide for details.

Notice of Acceptance
A schedule of all abstract presentations will be finalized in March 2018. The presenting author is then notified by email as to status of the abstract.

Registration Policy
Presenting (principal) authors also need to register for the conference by March 31, 2018. After this date, abstracts by unregistered authors are no longer eligible for presentation and will not be published in Paediatrics & Child Health.

If a presenting (principal) author cannot attend the annual conference, presentation by a co-author is acceptable. Please advise the Education Department at Abstracts@cps.ca as soon as possible.

RESIDENT ADVOCACY PROJECTS

Are you a local advocate? Or engaged on a project that’s making a difference in your community? This call is meant for you.

If accepted, your poster abstract is a great way to share your experience and learnings with paediatricians and other child and youth health professionals from across the country.

The CPS Annual Conference Committee is inviting abstract submissions for consideration. Submissions from CPS members and non-members are welcome, and participation is open to residents and medical students in any field.

  • There is no fee for Advocacy Project submissions
  • Abstracts must be submitted using the online abstract submission process by February 1, 2018 at 11:59 PM (EST)
